To keep it interesting, we made our trip a loop, walking in along the Secesh River Trail and out the Loon Lake Trail. In particular, there was a completely unmarked T-intersection on Trail 81, and without a physical map we made an educated guess that the way to go was to take a left. And just as we got to the car, the skies unleashed, confirming we indeed had perhaps the best of luck and a perfect first-time backpacking experience.
